Thursday, October 17 at 7 p.m. in the Grande Hall at Castle Falls

Castle Falls is honored to host an evening on The History of Council Grove featuring Bob Blackburn, Oklahoma Historical Society Executive Director.

In the 1800s, Council Grove, a grove of cottonwood, elm and oaks, was inhabited by the Creek Nation and many of the Plains Indians. The land was set aside as one of the first timber reserves to be used for the building
of Fort Reno at the end of that century.

There is no charge to attend, but registration is requested.
